*Rescheduled!* From Dr. Strange to Bridgerton: Unexpected Disability Narratives in Popular Culture

Join us for a rescheduled virtual presentation in honor of Disability Pride Month!

After an unexpected cancellation due to library closure for our Disability Pride Month program, we're honored to welcome Tolonda Henderson for their talk this August!

Tolonda Henderson is a PhD student in the English Department at the University of Connecticut who specializes in disability, race, and young adult literature. They will discuss unexpected disability narratives in recent popular media and how it plays a role in the development of character, including the popular Netflix series Bridgerton and Marvel's Dr. Strange.

This event will stream live on DCPL's YouTube page and may be viewed thereafter.
