Unpacking the Budget: A Community Event

  • Black Workers and Wellness Center 2500 Martin Luther King Junior Avenue Southeast Washington, DC, 20020 United States (map)

Mayor Bowser is scheduled to release her budget on April 1st. She’s spent the last few months signaling that this will be yet another budget balanced on the backs of our most vulnerable DC communities. Please join us in community for our Unpacking the Budget community session to learn about the Mayor’s proposed budget, and next steps to fight for a budget of care and sustainability with the DC Council. We’ll be meeting on April 14th from 6-8 pm at the Black Workers and Wellness Center in Anacostia.

Food, childcare, and interpretation as requested will be provided. The space will be ADA accessible.
