DC has been under a hostile military occupation for nearly an entire year, and for 11 days in August we are telling the story of the ways Trump’s occupation has hurt our communities.
Trump's occupation forces have hurt, harassed, and displaced unhoused neighbors in DC. These interactions further destabilize some of DC's most vulnerable residents and on August 10 we will center their experiences and stories.
After a short speaking program, walk with us two block to 13th and Massachusetts Ave. NW, where a community of residents have been banging pots and pans every night for an entire year. Neighbors are invited to bring pots and pans to make noise together at 7 PM.
