Liberation Learning Series: May Book Discussion (Virtual)

Join Free DC’s Popular Education Working Group as we dive into Washington DC Protests: Scenes from Home Rule to the Civil Rights Movement by Mark S. Greek. Together, we’ll study the legacy of protest in DC and connect it to our current struggle to protect Home Rule and for racial justice in the district and beyond.

You do NOT need to finish the reading to join, of course, it is encouraged. Our space centers lived experience as knowledge, your insights, stories, and questions are just as important as the text.

Need the book? Reach out in the Pop Ed chat.
