Join the Free DC Chocolate City Group as we gather in to break bread, fellowship, and learn. Rooted in the Black August traditions of political education, discipline, resistance, and recommitment to Black liberation, we’ll honor the struggle while imagining what we are fighting to build.
During our “Dare to Dream” Freedom Dreaming session, we’ll imagine a DC where we have the full political power to determine our own futures and build a collective vision for the liberated DC we deserve.
Together, we’ll deepen our discipline, strengthen our commitment, and dream beyond the conditions we’ve been told we have to accept. Free DC!
