Launch the National Arms Embargo Campaign in DC!
Join Metro DC DSA at the Palestine House of Freedom on Thursday, October 29, from 7:30–9:30 PM for the launch of DSA's National Arms Embargo Campaign!
The United States continues to supply Israel with weapons and military equipment. But these weapons don't move themselves. Behind every shipment is a network of manufacturers, transportation companies, logistics infrastructure, and workers who have the collective power to interrupt the flow.
The National Arms Embargo Campaign is building a worker-led movement to end US weapons transfers to Israel by organizing at critical points in the military supply chain.
Here in the DMV, we have a unique opportunity to contribute to the national arms embargo movement. Dulles International Airport is a key transportation hub through which military materiel bound for Israel has been shipped, making our region an important site for organizing. This event will bring together local organizers and community members to explore how we can leverage our region's strategic position to help build a worker-led arms embargo.
This launch is more than a watch party. It's an opportunity to organize.
We'll gather with comrades, labor organizers, and Palestine solidarity activists to discuss how we can build an effective local campaign, identify strategic targets, and map the relationships and resources needed to win.
