DC CWB is hosting Community Wealth Building Day on Saturday, October 17th from 10am-4pm at 899 North Capitol St NE.

The city is about to change and new possibilities are opening up with a new Mayor and Council. We're gathering 10/17 to re-ground our community in what's possible and to make decisions about how we will build systems of community wealth for the long term.

And then on the next day (Sunday 10/18), back by popular demand, we're partnering with ReDelicious and Edgewood Community Farm again to host a public-facing Co-op Festival during their weekly Sunday food distribution from 3-6pm next to 2304 2nd St NE.

The DC Community Wealth Builders is a grassroots coalition building shared ownership, locally rooted wealth, and an economic development strategy of local economic infrastructure instead of corporate incentives.
