Black August Part 2: Organize

How do we transform reflection into collective action?

Join the Center for Black Educator Development and the National Black Teacher Pipeline Coalition for the second session of Black August: Educate. Heal. Organize.

Together, we will consider what it takes to build a future where Black children and educators can thrive.

During this interactive session, participants will:

  • Develop a shared vision for educational freedom.

  • Explore ways to strengthen pathways for Black educators.

  • Identify strategies, partnerships, and actions that advance educational equity.

  • Create individual and collective commitments. Leave with clear next steps.
