Metro DC DSA’s Abolition Working Group is planning to host a July 15 fundraiser at the Dew Drop Inn, with aim to resource the 3rd Annual Kids Not Cops Backpack Giveaway. At last year’s fundraiser, socialists and allies raised over $6,000 to supply over 300 kids with fresh backpacks and school supplies. Abolitionists are aiming to beat their distribution record this year: All are invited to participate in this objective while socializing with comrades.
