SANCTUARY CAMPUS RALLY: DEFEND THE POPULAR UNIVERSITY- GWU REJECT THE DOJ RESOLUTION!
Join a united front of students and workers on Thursday, October 16th at 5:30 PM to demand that President Granberg, GW Administration, and the Board of Trustees refuse to capitulate to the DOJ and stand up against Donald Trump’s fascist attacks against our university and on D.C.
GW has now entered negotiations with the DOJ. With free speech, essential funding for academic programs, and basic protections for non-citizen, queer, and pro-Palestine communities on the line, we know who will experience the brunt of the consequences should GW give in.
In the past month, The Trump Administration has only escalated its racist campaign of terror on D.C., and Foggy Bottom has been no exception to ICE abductions and encampment sweeps that have targeted our most vulnerable community members. We know that the DOJ’s attack on our university is not isolated from the broader waves of fascist violence and repression in the district. It is our responsibility to fight back!!
We call on GW to refuse capitulation stand with the students, workers, and community! We will not rest until each and every one of our demands are met.
