Occupied DC: A Teach-In

  • MLK Jr Memorial Library or Online 901 G Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

This teach-in is hybrid. Information to join on zoom will be emailed ahead of the event

The presence and danger of federal and local police has been constant throughout DC and the DMV area long before this current crisis. While the urgency and danger of this moment can't and shouldn't be denied in many ways DC has always been an occupied city. Join us for a teach-in on the current federal takeover, how we can understand it in the context of policing and criminalization in DC, what we can do about all of it.

Join us in-person or online! For in-person attendees snacks will be provided and masking is encouraged.
