Redistribution Plan Workshop

Join us as we delve into the radical projects that our Baldwin House tenant-stewards are working tirelessly on, and learn how your investment in Baldwin House can amplify the impact of these initiatives. Some of the projects include:

- Intergenerational urban farming, woodworking, and skill-building

- Supporting incarcerated artists and returning citizens

- Know-your-rights trainings and police accountability

- Affordable housing and co-op advocacy

- Mentoring young BIPOC organizers

- Storytelling and archiving of co-op history in D.C.

What is the Debt-Free Futures Campaign? We are building a future for the Baldwin House Cooperative that is free from banks and from traditional wealth-building, which relies on perpetually increasing property values. Our Debt-Free Futures campaign goal is to raise another $2 million to pay off our bank loan. We know this is an audacious endeavor, but we have also seen how community members with access to wealth can mobilize resources to invest in this project.

We hope you will join us and bring any friends or loved ones you think would be interested in this project. We look forward to coming together as a community, sharing insights and ideas, and making tangible strides toward our debt-free futures!

In Solidarity,

Baldwin House Community Collective
