On Jan 17th, the DC Council Committee on the Judiciary and Public Safety voted in support of the bill, on January 23rd the Committee of the Whole followed suit. But this doesn't mean the fight is over! We still have time to stop the Council from passing the deeply harmful provisions contained in the bill! On Feb 6th, the bill will be voted on at the Council legislative meeting, the first of two votes.
