Ida B. Free is the Legal Defense Pillar within Harriet's Wildest Dreams Hub.

We organize, strategize, and empower loved ones that are incarcerated or facing criminal charges in Washington D.C. While we can see the police killing and targeting black people every day, what we can not see is the great harm that prosecutors and judges do in the courtrooms.

Thousands of our people are overcharged, harshly sentenced, and wrongfully convicted daily. We support our people through legal empowerment and teach them how to navigate the system. Through our weekly meetings, we organize with attorneys and others to ensure the best possible outcome in each case. We also work to hold system players accountable for true justice for Black people.
