This year Harriets Dreams Presents to you DC For Global Peace: A Chocolate City Black August Celebration! A cross-cultural celebration rooted in resistance, education & healing. Across the globe we are witnessing some of the most horrific humanitarian crises. From DC to Gaza, to Sudan and The Congo - we stand together. This Black August Community gathering intends to create a safe space for people of different backgrounds and cultures to come together in solidarity to share and celebrate our struggles, traditions, histories and wins.

Together we will build the world we want to live in.
