You must be Courtwatch trained to attend this event.

The last Saturday of each month Courtwatch will be in person at the courts. We need two teams for each shift, one team inside of the courts and one team with jail support.

Courtroom team: Be advised that you are not allowed to have devices in the courtroom. There are two ways you can watch- inside courtroom C10 with a pen and paper or right outside of C10 (there are benches) with a device connected via webex. The idea is to catch the folks who are being released on PR and get them connected with Participatory defense.

Jail Support team: You will need a computer/phone with Webex to connect to the courts remotely while outside. You will be able to see the people who are released in real time and offer Participatory Defense support. Lean on the jail support folks if you have questions about process.
