Republicans have overturned one DC law — and now they're trying to overturn more. They're acting like they know what's best for DC, but they don't live here, they don't know us, and they don't know what DC communities want.

On Wednesday, March 29, DC Councilmembers are being called before the U.S. House Oversight Committee to get grilled about laws DC has already passed. Overturning our local laws threatens the rights and safety of everyone who lives here. It will not make us safer — and the Oversight Committee needs to hear that from us.

Join the #HandsOffDC coalition on Wednesday, March 29 at 8:00am at Seward Square on Capitol Hill for a rally and march to the hearing. We will take over Pennsylvania Avenue to make it clear that DC belongs to us before making our way to the Congressional office building where the hearing will take place.
