Since the Decriminalize Montgomery County Coalition was created in 2020, the coalition removed school resource officers (SROs) from MCPS and introduced the restorative justice program. We continue to fight for urgent decriminalization and investment in our communities, as well as the redress of issues without policing and incarceration, particularly for drivers and students. Together, we can forge a path towards safer roads, a fairer education system, and a community where all residents can live and thrive without criminalization.
