Cop-watch training is a required training for individuals who are interested in participating in the DC Safety Squad as cop watchers. This training will prepared individuals on what to look for at the scene of potential police arrests or violence. This training will prepare individuals for proper etiquette and process of engaging in situations with police presence. Some of the expectations include stopping to record what the police do, letting community members know that they have rights and are not alone and making sure police know that they are being watched.
