SURJ DC is launching antiracist reading groups to discuss racial justice by creating safe spaces for people to learn, develop skills and build capacity for organizing against white supremacy. Be part of a SURJ DC Reading/Action Group

SURJ DC is seeking participants to join ongoing small-group discussions for (primarily) white people interested in racial justice. Sign up below and we will contact you in early October with more info about your Reading/Action Group. 

Qualities we seek:
- Willingness to be authentic and humble, to ask open-ended questions, to listen, and to engage in focused dialogue

- Willingness to spend at least 4 hours per month on meetings and readings

-Participants must commit to attending at least 8 sessions, on a schedule determined by the groups themselves (beginning October 2023).
